Why is this poor child on the run, I dont see why they would even charge her:
The 16-year-old girl suspected of fatally stabbing an ex-con lashed out after he and a bevy of men chased her onto a Queens subway train and tried to fondle her, her mother said Friday. Thomas Winston, 29, and a pack of thugs tried to pull Cyan Brown out of a subway car at the 21st St.-Queensbridge station about 9 p.m. Thursday following an altercation that began outside a nearby chicken restaurant, police and family said. She fought back and stabbed Winston before she fled on a Manhattan-bound F train, police said. Winston, the father of a 10-month-old girl,was pronounced dead at a Manhattan hospital. Although police have not disclosed any official suspects, Brown’s family said detectives have been trying to contact the girl in connection with Winston’s death. “The guys tried to feel up my daughter and the next thing I know, someone was knocking on my door saying Cyan stabbed someone,” said Erika Brown, 40, the teen’s mother.
Winston, who lived in a nearby shelter, had a long list of prior convictions that included criminal possession of a weapon and selling narcotics and also faced an attempted murder charge, sources said. But Winston’s cousin Tedra Laws, 31, said he was never in the subway station, but was trying to catch a cab to bring a present to his daughter. “We can’t answer why she would stab him,” she said of the teen. “She had a history of stabbing people. If you had an argument with her, she’d stab you.” Hours after the Queens slaying, Kendell Witherspoon, 20, was stabbed in his back at an East New York apartment, police said. He was pronounced dead an hour later at Brookdale University Hospital.
There was also a stabbing in front of the Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church near 56th St. in midtown, where witnesses said one homeless man knifed another in the chest and face during an argument.
i know that area. its bad. its a shame you cant be left alone these days. minding your own business and still folks want to mess with you.
I KNOW CYAN AND ITS LIKE HER TO DO SMETHING LIKE THAT SHE’S ALWAYS BEEN BAD AND HAD A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE..SHE DESERVES TO BE SENT AWAY.. I THINK THAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR HER SINCE SHE WAN’T TO KILL ITS SAD THAT PPL REALLY DO THAT BUT ITS LIFE AND WINSTON DIDN’T TRY TO FONDLE HER HER AND HER ASSOCIATES STEPP’D ON HIM AND HE ASK’D THEM TO SAY SORRY AND SHE WENT OFF WITH HER BIG MOUTH LIKE SHE NORMALLY DID….
Cyan is like a sister to me and for all who don’t like her ooh well fuck outta here…. yall mad whack she stabb’d him cause he was trying to get crazy… now hop off
If people weren’t bullied so much and called “snitches” we WOULD know exactly what happened. Those complaining about “snitches”, which are really honorable citizens doing their civic duty, wonder why the wrong people get locked up sometimes. I don’t know what happened in this case, but if people weren’t bullied, threatened, treated contemptuously etc.,there would be a much better and safer Queensbridge to live in. I hate that word “snitch”! Those that commit crimes or intend to commit crimes are the only ones complaining about it anyway. It is the civic duty of every citizen to report crime whether anonymously or otherwise. Queensbridge has camera’s everywhere because people are too scared to report crime, so the camera’s have to do around 1/2 of the work. Thanks to the cameras I and others fought for we have a much safer Queensbridge Community now. But………we still have a long way to go. There’s still too much marijuana smoking in the building hallways/stairwells and drug dealing out of peoples apartments. There are too many over confident criminals telling law abiding citizens, like me this week, being threatened not to talk or report things “or you could get hurt”. Yes, this is the exact reason why many tenants like me are like prisoners in their own homes. I feel like in my own building, it’s sort of like “New Jack City” where tenants in 41-09 Vernon Blvd(for example)Apt. 4A constantly blast the music at all hours, fight, slam doors bang on doors and threaten anyone that reports them blasting their music at 1am in the morning etc.. These bullies/criminals have all threatened to beat me up after I reported to the Police that there was NO GUN in an argument the young man in 4A started with Apt 5E’s Father.They assumed I said there was a gun with absolutely no proof of course as I reported to the contrary.
Regardless, every tenant has a legal right to peace and quiet. THAT is NOT a favor. It’s a part of the lease we sign and the ordinance of New York City. It’s LAW! It’s hard enough living right up next to each other. People need to learn to keep the noise down so people can live their lives normally. I even have neighbors in 4B under me who bang on their ceiling/my floor 24/7. When I complain, they are so arrogant about it like most here. When I report noise harassment they get so angry. But, they’re not angry I can’t go to work or school because of the 12 1/2 years of many neighbors here noise harassing me constantly. I have a lookout on my floor in 5E that tips off everyone when I go in and out and meanwhile he smiles in my face and acts friendly. The fact is he’s a Black Panther, Gang Banger, had threatened to beat me up in the past and state’s “White people have no reason raising Black children” as he is also racist. This is the leader of the rest of the tenants here at 41-09 Vernon Blvd.. He reports anything I say to everyone so they can think of ways to hurt me and asks me questions on behalf of corrupted Police Officers like Stewart of Police Service Area 9. The Police are bent on retaliation here against me since I first reported their corruption to the Internal Affairs Bureau. Too bad! I WILL REPORT CRIME AGAINST ME AND OTHERS WHETHER ANYONE LIKES IT OR NOT. I do not play crime. I am protective of all people regardless of who they are as long as they are doing the right thing. I, unlike others will NOT let anyone intimidate me from bettering my Community. If their committing crimes against law-abiding citizens like me, they’re DEFINITELY doing it to everyone else. Well the conclusion of the story is the police are saying that she was the aggressor …I knew someone was suspect with her story…why in the hell would some guys chase her in an attempt to fondle her??? Just didnt sound right to me…now if she is a hot head like everyone claims then she needs to be charged
