What is your take on Abortions, if it’s anything like this woman, I don’t want to know you.
Irene Vilar worries that her self-described “abortion addiction” will be misunderstood, twisted by the pro-life movement to deny women the right to choose. Her book, “Impossible Motherhood,” chronicles her own dark choices of having… …15 abortions in 16 years, much of it as a married woman. As press on the book has begun to leak out, Vilar — a literary agent and editor — says she has already sensed “an inkling of hatred.”
At the age of 16 she married a tyrannical 50-year-old professor, a relationship which made her ashamed, belittled and depressed. She self-harmed and attempted suicide several times but continued to get pregnant with monotonous regularity. “I had twelve abortions in eleven years with my first husband,” says Irene who is now very regretful of her troubled past. Her other three abortions were with different men as Irene continued to use abortion as if it were contraception. Thankfully Irene uncovered the courage to end her dysfunctional marriage and found a healthy and compassionate love with a new husband, a writer and poet of her own age. Luckily her repeated terminations had not damaged her reproductive system and she now has a happy family with her husband and two young girls aged three and five. I personally don’t believe in abortions AT ALL for no reason, but I’m not going to tell people what to do with their bodies. I’ve had a couple of girlfriends have abortions and I have to admit, the emotional break down they endure following their abortions is just not worth going through it. How can you kill a living person who is connected to you, you have no idea why God placed that seed in your womb, so who are you to make the choice tp execute him/her. I am sure I would never have an abortion and because of that I’m very careful the decision I make because I am terrified of ever being in a position where abortion is even an option.

I don’t know what side of the fence I am on here. Do women who constantly have abortions as a form of contraceptive deserve to have children? It’s not a point of being more responsible when they’re ready for kids. How could proper contraception have not been a point to be realised after, say, the first 3 abortions? I understand that’s she was quite young at the time but damn. It seems like the ignorance of contraception or total avoidance of it will completely take over any education of it.
I can hardly believe the luck of the draw that this woman ended up having healthy children after that many abortions. There’s women out in the world who have one abortion and their reproductive systems are shot for life.

Abortion is murder point blank and period. I’m glad that with this case it’s a troubled story behind it and that she has made it a thing of her past but if women are concerned about their bodies, we shouldn’t do the things that would get us pregnant, especially being the aborter is making a decision about a child’s body.
There is a video on Youtube about a woman that survived an abortion and she asked the question where were her rights? She survived it but she has all kinds of hurdles to overcome and live with for life because of the attempt to abort her.
weird that posted before I finished:) Anyway I think there are women who do it blindly and have regret and there is forgiveness for that but as far as your question concerning my take, it’s murder, regardless of the stage of the pregnancy.

I have to say I was confused as well, i lknow a couple of women who had 1 or 2 abortions and their body refuse to reproduce and hold babies to the point where they are having miscarriages and cany have any children, how did this woman do all this and was still able to have children, Something is not right here..
This woman came out with a story that many poor woman here in Mich know so well. When abortions were free here in Mich with a medicaid card I know of women who used abortion as a means of birth control. I don’t agree with her choice to have so many because it’s not heathly for your body. Mentally I don’t think its good for you either. How could she come out with a book? Basically (my opinion) she’s a serial killer. One, ok you messed up learn from that and use protection but 15 come on thats crazy. It’s a wonder her uterus isn’t hanging out.

how can i put this gently? I cant the woman is a murderer, child or no child what she says is BS straight up. I read this article a while back in a newspaper and shes so messed up in the head, she said the constant abortions were a rebellion against her husband who DIDNT want children. Say what? so wait up he didnt want them so you killed them, HELLO having them is an act of rebellion. I mean did they mince up your brain and suck that out your ear the same time they were chopping up your baby in the womb and vacuuming it out of you. I CANNOT agree with abortion no matter what. And if anyone actually knew what happened I dont think they could either. And if they read about the techniques used and feel nothing that person is a cold hearted person who shouldn’t have kids.

I am totally shocked that someone could even think about an abortion period, but 15 abortions is just crazy. I think this woman should have never had any children because she is so selfish, and should be all alone to think about the lives she’s taken.
