Is he serious?
The Lollipop hit-maker, real name Dwayne Carter III, handed over the cash to officials in charge of Harrell Park, which was destroyed when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. It was used as a trailer site for the local water board in the hurricane’s aftermath, and its heavy equipment left the park’s track and field severely damaged.
However the rapper’s generosity, via his youth empowerment organization One Family Foundation, means officials can now make a start on restoring the recreation area. And Lil Wayne hopes other stars will be inspired to help their communities in the same way.
This is news how exactly, how long has Lil Wayne been in the industry and how much has he made this month alone and we are suppose to congratulate and look up to him for a playground. Some of these celebs really need to start doing better. I know everyone else must be reading this going aww, but I’m sorry if I think he could have done better than a playground. Something is better than nothing I guess..
