A few weeks ago, I told Uncle Russ that I do not want to “waste my celebrity,” as my celebrity is a gift to me, my family and the world…not only for me to get ahead, but for others as well. So, I am happy to announce that I have officially signed to the Ford Agency and I am moving to NY to pursue my modeling and acting careers! I am going to be taking acting classes in NY and will pursue the dreams that I have had my entire life. Today, I feel really blessed. I can actually look @ this contract and know that I have made some progress. Proof that when you work hard, good things do happen. I know it is just a piece of paper, but to me that contract represents millions of opportunities that are now before me. Again, it is not just to help me, but so I can make a greater impact around the world. The world is only what you make it…so when you have great opportunities, use them and make your dreams come true!

I’ve been a big fan of Keyshia cole’s music from her first album, and I remember thinking after hearing her songs wow, this chick had to have been really hurt to write these lyrics, and after numerous interviews of her describing her past relationships, I was right. I remember hearing an interview of how Young Jeezy describe her as a girlfriend and he made her out to be so insecure and needy, oh and lets not forget the whole “she proposed to him, and he said no” story. When I heard of her dating basketball player Boobie Gibson, I was very happy for her thinking, damn she deserve to find love and be happy, especially after watching the antics of her family on BET, but his picture HERE have thrown me for a loop, because I never wanted to think of  Keyshia as one of those women who fall in love, fall hard and get sucked up and lose all common sense within a couple of weeks.

According to Bossip, they caught up with Keyshia Cole at the B.E.T awards and asked her about her new tat which says “Truly Blessed D. Gibson”. Keyshia’s response was “We love each other, so I figured, why not?” We asked again…”Why Not?” This time Keyshia returned with a “We love each other” and a very cute grin.

I’m happy to see you happy girl, but relationships take time, so take your time, I really hope that is a Henna tatoo and it was all a joke for the blogs to report and run a story on you. You are way to strong and smart to appear naive.

Only Solo can pull off these gets up and still look pretty decent doing it. I have to say im loving the leggings, I get a “got milk” feeling looking at them. CNN has released THIS exclusive video of Michael Jackson rehearsing with dancers on June 23rd at the Staples Center. In related news, MJ’s memorial service will take place on Tuesday, July 7th at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center.

The girl, two 17-year-old boys and Dilyen Langdeau, 19, of Torrington, were arrested Tuesday night and arraigned in Bantam Superior Court on Wednesday. Langdeau was charged with assault and conspiracy; the teens face similar counts. The fifth teenager was not charged. Melanie Arnold, told The Associated Press on Thursday that the girl is her daughter.

 Arnold denied she was screaming, and said her daughter thought she heard a slap and believed an assault was happening. “Instead of asking what was going on, they assumed and took matters into their own hands,” Arnold said. “Now they have to learn a lesson.” The teens knocked on the bedroom door and Arnold opened it, according to the couple, who recently broke up.

The B.E.T. Cable Network continues to degraide (their spelling, not mine) the Image of black people to be specific, African Americans. This network is not progressive and tarnishes the image of Black women. They have UPCOMING SHOWS  (thier spelling not mine) we must put a stop to, we must use our voice and power to stop this sad network from painting false images of black women and promoting shows that perpetuate every stereotype so many are fighting. Shows such as FRANKIE and Nephie and Tiny and Toya must not air. We don’t want the world and our people watching a bunch of ghetto, trashy looking blk women who perpetuate stereotypes being shown on national televisiion..its embarrassing and not a reflection of many AA women but sadly this is what the world gets to see. DEBRA LEE who comes off as having class is setting African Americans back big time, she should be fired…… MEN AND WOMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS ,SIGN THIS to try to put a stop to this, don’t let these shows air!

The former child star, Gary Coleman, was allegedly battered by his wife who was arrested and booked in domestic battery and disorderly conduct charges on July 1. Shannon Price, Coleman’s wife, was taken in to custody from the couple’s Santaquin, Utah home. When the police arrived to the scene, Price had locked Coleman out of the house and was ransacking the bedroom. Officials say she “yelled and called officer ‘f***er’ and told officer ‘f**k you and f**k him several times,” according to TMZ.com. The official police report said Coleman’s wife admitted to her misconduct and and told Gary “you deserve this after how you treated me.”Price was booked on two misdemeanors and released on $1,205 bond. Coleman and Price were married in August of 2007 after dating for a short five months. The couple has publicly admitted to their marital strain in an appearance on the TV show, Divorce Court, in efforts to save their union.

I do not think anyone should have the right to put their hands on anyone (even though i know when i get angry, my ass may end up looking like rhianna trying to fight a man lol)  so no matter who the person is getting doing the hitting, the consequences should be the same , how the hell did she end up with misdeameanors?  Usher  is reportedly demanding a paternity test to confirm he is the father of his youngest son with estranged wife Tameka Foster – because the former couple’s sex life was virtually non-existent when the tot was conceived. The R&B superstar filed for divorce last month (12Jun09), revealing he had been living apart from the stylist since July 2008 and stating that there was “no reasonable hope of reconciliation”. According to the National Enquirer, Usher was stunned to learn Foster was pregnant last year – because the passion in their marriage had fizzled out months before little Naviyd Ely Raymond was born on 10 December (08).

A source tells the tabloid, “The first thing Usher said was, ‘How did this happen?’ – because he was gone a lot, and their sex life was very, very limited. “People have been telling him that around the time the little boy was conceived, Tameka got together with another man.” But Foster is adamant the boy is the Yeah! hitmaker’s, and claims the tot was conceived during a rare night of intimacy. The insider adds, “She says that although they weren’t spending much time together, they did get together for one night of passion. The Reverend Al Sharpton and a female fan got a little carried away during a public memorial for Michael Jackson held at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem last night. Thousands of fans from all over the country lined up in the pouring rain along West 125th Street near the historic Apollo Theater waiting for their chance to celebrate the life and music of Michael Jackson, who died of heart failure last week at his rented home in Los Angeles. The memorial began at 2pm with Sharpton calling for a moment of silence at 5:26pm — the time on the east coast when doctors pronounced Jackson dead at the UCLA Medical Center. Then Sharptonshocked revelers when he and an unidentified woman got up close and personal with each other onstage as director Spike Lee snapped photos of the spectacle.

Well at least Michael is uniting alot of people, bringing us all together again, all shades, ages or social class. When was the last time we watched so many people of different race and social class get along and just celebrated.

While many of us are criticizing Tiny and Toya for their decision to display another poor depiction of the young black women of today, the young ladies are doing their thing and for the other half of the of us who support the show, they seem to be happy and appreciate you tuning into the show. The ladies are spotted above in Atlanta attending their premiere party. You know how we do it here at Wandaphull World we may not agree with everything you do, but we do our best not to hate. 

I purposely made the decison to ignore  Toya’s  chopped up spandex, but I already know a couple of you will not .

I sat down tonight to watch the premiere of yet another degrading black reality show on BET and I have to say I am so very disgusted by how BETt continue to portray black woman. Is this the only way BET will ever portray black women, what about black women like myself who work our ass off for everything that is placed in our hand and go through real obstacles which does not involve whether or not we have the latest designer bag, and how much money our man has in his bank account, I guess a college education and intellect is overrated these day. Why can’t these women use the little fame they have accumulated to support a good cause or use the show for something positive like helping other  black women  in the communiies they grew up in.  I applaud these two young black women for being great single mothers but aside from that, I do not plan on watching another episode of this show. NO THANK YOU!

I was going to go in real hard on these two young women until I read this post over at StuffFlyPeopleLike who said it best:

They say first impressions are everything. I am not impressed. I am actually embarrassed and ashamed at the depiction of our people in such a negative light in the year 2009. Black Entertainment Television, I am not entertained. A show based on two un-wed Mothers who happen to have children by Wealthy Rappers is the best we could come up with? Really? I mean Really? It ended for me the minute they opened their mouths. They both sound as if they walked away from school in the fourth grade. Definitely NOT the strong Black woman my God daughters, niece and cousins needs to see when they turn on the television.On the surface, their real-life story plays out like an urban fairytale – both women falling in love with two of hip hop’s most successful princes (T.I. and Lil’ Wayne) and living the life of the rich and famous.

Urban Fairytale? If you ask me, this show gives the Green light for Young women to aspire to have sex with Rappers, spit out children, and have a Louis Vuitton Bag for every day of the week-based off the earnings of the Father of their Children. Real Positive. Both women lack education, and could not stand on their own two feet without the earnings of the men who’s children they bare. I’ll tell you what an Urban Fairytale is, it’s that of two individuals who seek to be the best possible human beings that they can be through education, self awareness and independence first. Possessing the skills to stand alone, love themselves and Then seeking a mate with the same characteristics to build with. Building a family that is strong and leading by example so that their children know what to do when they leave the nest and walk into adulthood.They are tired of being defined by others (in the shadow of their high-profile men) and are determined to rely on each other and the strength from within to find their purpose and build a brighter future for themselves and their families. (how?)

I’m not coming down on Tiny and Toya- well yeah I am. It’s unrealistic to promote this lifestyle and the means by which it was obtained without promoting yet another stereotype that we should be seeking to destroy. I am appalled by what I saw last night. Have no clue about the rest of the season but here’s a thought, seek to be educated. That would turn this entire show around. If school is not your thing take some speech courses so you can articulate yourself in a more graceful manner. Education comes in all shapes and forms and is not limited to a University or Campus. Show the millions of young black women, who will unfortunately be tuned in that there is more to life then getting knocked up by a Rapper and that if they must choose being independent is the primary goal.

If that’s not the goal of this show, thanks for projecting yet another stereo type to the masses.

It was July 28 2004 the first time i met ms.fantasia barrino she was in detroit performing at the Joe Louis Arena I am from a neighboring city of detroit about a hour away. At this time i was real deep in the drug trade in detroit,pontiac,flint and grand rapids all cities in michigan. A guy i knew from detroit who at the time was one of the biggest drug dealers in the detroit called me and asked me if i was going to be in the area that wednesday and i said yeah that i had some money to drop off to him and that wednesday was gonna be a ok day for me to get away from the stuff i had going on in my own city and meet up with him. i get down to detroit around 3PM and i meet up with him at sweet georgia brown we have a bite to eat and we began talking about stuff going on in the drug game in his city and mine and how we were going to take over the whole state at the rate we were going so i give him his money in a black eastpack back pack. He then asks me what i had planned for the night and i told him nothing much just gettin money. He asks me if i want to meet fantasia that he had some tickets and could get back stage.

At this point i was kind of off and on with a few different females in detroit and in my city mostly just hit and run type stuff nothing serious. So i tell him yeah and that i would get together with one of my chicks and meet him and the GM renisance center before the concert. So later that day we meet up with my boy at the hotel and we proceed to Joe Louis Arena we get there a little late the concert had already started the tickets we had were on the floor i think the 3rd or 4th row from the stage she was performing on. I locked eyes with her a few times and i gotta admit i was rock hard watchin her perform. after her performance we proceed to walk back stage and meet her.

Am I the only one who noticed that Wayne and Lil Wayne sand their hit degrading song “F**K Every Girl In The World” while his daughter and her friends grind on the stage. The first thing I asked myself was, WTF was BET thinking and how could Debra allow this ish to go down, but according to on line sources, Wayne was just trying to be a good dad and bought his daughter on stage because she was crying in the back for not being able to go on stage with him when he won his award:

According to Sandrarose the girls are actually a music group, they are Tiny’s new group, OMG.  The group’s lead singer is Zonnique, 12, daughter of Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. The other three members are Reginae Carter, 9, Wayne’s daughter with Antonia Carter who stars on Tiny & Toya, Bahjah Rodriguez, who turns 12 in August, and her sister Lourdes Rodriguez, who turns 11 in September.  Bahjah’s father, Jonathen “John-John” Rasboro is of the R&B group Silk and says he knew nothing about his daughter’s Atlanta audition with the group.

Wow I would have never guessed these girls were a group, but whatever the reason was for them being on the stage to such a provocative song, was ALL WRONG!!!

Sneek Peek into the first episode of Tiny & Toya Show, which airs on BET tomorrow night (June 30) at 10 pm. Tiny introduces the world to her parents Diane Cottle and Charles Pope of College Park, Georgia. Diane and Charles have been married for over 28 years and have two other children, Redd, who is a member of the Tams, and Michelle.

Why am I thinking Reality shows are going to be extinct pretty soon, because every week there’s a new washed up artist or entertainer trying to expose their lives to the world with the same drama we’ve seen on numerous reality shows . Why cant these ladies look for a way to be original instead of accepting a quick check:

VH1 is giving Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt n Pepa and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from TLC new reality show which are  scheduled to premiere in 2010. The “Pepa” series follows Denton as she begins her to search for love after living a celibate life for years. VH1 has ordered eight half-hour episodes and its produced by Tarver and Ken Druckerman for Left/Right, Inc. Executive Producers for VH1 are Shelly Tatro, Danielle Gelfand, Kari McFarland and Jeff Olde.

“Chilli” from R&B group TLC is also searching for romance and has enlisted the help of Brooklyn relationship expert Tionna Smalls. Eight half-hour episodes have been ordered and the show is produced by FremantleMedia North America. Larry Barron, Kevin Williams, Bill Diggins and Chilli are executive producers. Executive producers for VH1 are Jim Ackerman, Dave Hamilton and Jeff Olde.

Mariah Carey was spotted on the set of her new music video “Obsessed” in New York City on June 29th. Obsessed will appear on her forthcoming album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”, in stores on August 25th. The Examiner.com reports that:

Two weeks after the premier of her single “Obsessed,” Mariah Carey is having a hard time getting commercial airplay for the single. Within the past week, the song had less than 12 million radio impressions. It’s not bad, but a new Mariah Carey single usually gets to over 35 million impressions within a two-week period. The song is actually growing decently on Urban and Rhythmic radio, but doing very poorly on CHR/Pop.. Many are suggesting that if airplay doesn’t increase, the song may be severely deeply discounted like Mariah’s “Loverboy,” which almost topped the charts when it was reduced to the price of 49 cents. Others are saying that Mariah will repress the availability of downloads for the song until August so the song can chart higher. Mariah Carey has always been praised for her ability to manipulate Billboard’s music charts so her songs can become big hits even if they technically really aren’t hitting.

I’m not going to lie, the song is okay, but I’ve heard better from her. Word on the street is this is a diss track to Eminem, if you heard the song, what do you think?

And The Beat Goes on….

I’m really starting to wonder and get on the bandwagon of the people who question why Madonna keep adopting these black babies. Dont get me wrong, I’m happy to see these children get an opportunity at a better life, but something about all thes photo opts with the children make my stomach sick:

Madonna was photographed in public with her new daughter Mercy James for the first time on Saturday. The two were seen leaving the Kabbalah Centre in London. Madonna’s other two kids, Lourdes and David, as well as her ex-husband Guy Ritchie were also spotted.

According to Bossip, Since NY represented with their Stonewall Riots, San Francisco couldn’t be outdone. The streets were filled with gay pride supporters this past Sunday. Looks like a bunch of broke down tranny’s trying to get some hype to us.

There’s always a lot good and a bad in every community, guess which catergory these fall into.

Solange Knowles was there in her glow stick get up. Say what you want about Solange, this girl is the MJ of her family, she set herself completely apart and nothing about her scream a Knowles.

I was so excited about the BET Awards last night with the MJ tribute and Jamie hosting but the show took  way too many weird, unexpected and trashy turns for me. I heard alot of people say they loved it and i have to ask, were we watching the same show. The show was a Mess, unorganized, telepromter was flucked up, teh artist and announcers all seem like they were on 10 different shows with all the confusions and mistakes.  I really think the show could have been better, espicially since they decided to plug Michael Jackson name for more ratings. I was so surprised to see CNN covet the red carpet, when does that ever happen? BET knew the world would be watching and still embarassed the ish out of themselves. SO SAD!! In my opinion, the show should have been called  the Backward awards. I’m going to list a couple of my concerns, but trust me there were so many more  and I am dying to hear yours.

1. What the hell was Beyonce and Jay Z singing about last night, I was so very lost and there was something about Beyonce singing Avi Marie in a swimsuit that seem borderline blasphemy to me, Jay, No words NEXT!! but I ahve to applaud him for cutting the nest off his head.

2. Loved Keri Hilson act, but why the hell did she feel the last part of her performance was necessary. Blank Stare!

3. Was this really suppose to be dedicated to MJ because I was expecting a mass tribute with a couple of artist singing some of his greatest hits and dancing to his songs, hello Neyo, Ciara, Chris Brown??? WTF BET??

4. Why the hell was Ciara sitting down, she is a dancer and she sang sitting down and i use the term sang litely. Failed!!

5. I really love the Yvette and Jody skit until Ving Rhames came out, that ish turned into a hot ass mess after that, the audience was so confused and They actually started cursing at each other standing behind Taraji.

6. Why didnt BET play Michael Jackson songs during the intermissions instead of all those long ass pauses with Jamie’s face looking like, WTF is going on a dadlibbing the hell out of the show.

7. Why the hell was Lil Wayne and Drake singing ” F**k every Girl In The World” with little girls walking around on stage with them, WTF was up with that?

8. Don Conrnelius NO!!!, New Edition, HELL NO, Bobby Brown, BLANK STARE, Joe Jackson and Al Sharpton, JUST SHOOT ME.

I can go on all night but I’ll stop right here, because I’m sure you will take care of the rest, when I read your comments.

These are pictures of Michael Jackson on June 23, 2009 at the Staples Center during rehearsals for his upcoming 50-date concert engagement at the 02 Arena in London. The concerts were set to begin on July 13 and last through the beginning of March 2010. But Jackson’s friends doubt he would have lasted that long. They say Jackson hired a personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray of Las Vegas, just two weeks before he was to leave for London to provide him with prescription drugs — and eventually, an excuse to bail out on the concerts series early. Jackson was in no physical shape for such a grueling contractual commitment. The 50-year-old 5′-10″ superstar weighed approximately 125 pounds when he suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away last week.

I was so busy today and sat down to update my post  around 11:30pm EST, and when I logged on I noticed I had over $10,000 views today and lost my ish.  “MY HIGHEST VIEWS PER DAY TO DATE”. I started this blog last year in October when I was going through some hard times and my blog was one of my therapeutic ways to stay busy and stress free, from that time I have grown to love this blog with a passion, and love what I do. My loyal readers motivate me to continue doing this and I’m working on launching a site in October on my 1 year anniversary.

You have absolutely no idea how excited I am about this accomplishment,  I appreciate my loyal readers who have been there with me since day one and thank you so very much to unknowntheartist who posted this comment “Anyway, good lookin’ out Miss Wanda, this is the first time I’ve seen you on the front page of WordPress “  because if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have known I was on the front page of WordPress today because I hardly ever pay attention. Being on the front page of WordPress is another big accomplishment for me and I am jumping around house like a kid in the candy store.

I knew the skeletons were going to start coming out the closets but these crabs could have at least waited until the man was buried in peace. Michael Jackson’s Ex-wife and baby mother Debbie Rowe is just one of the crabs who has already opened up her no-lips to the media. In an interview with News of the World, Debbie stated that Prince Michael and Paris are not her ex-husband’s biological children. Debbie says the sperm came from a donor and not from MJ.

Debbie claim she could never talk about any of this before, because she signed a confidentiality agreement But now that he’s gone, let the famewhoring begin! Debbie said, Michael was divorced, lonely and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, ‘I will have your babies’. I offered him my womb – it was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy. “I was just the vessel. It wasn’t Michael’s sperm. Just like I stick the sperm up my horse, this is what they did to me. I was his thoroughbred.” While she was pregnant with Prince Michael, MJ wanted to marry Debbie so they could look like a perfect family. They never sexed it up together or even kissed on the lips. After Debbie gave birth to Paris, she learned that she could never have kids again, “The delivery was so hard. My insides were all torn up and I was barren. When he knew I couldn’t have any more babies he didn’t want anything to do with me.”

MJ reportedly bought her a house and gave her millions of dollars to go away. Debbie says she will not fight for custody of Prince Michael or Paris, “I know I will never see them again. I was never cut out to be a mother – I was no good. I don’t want these children in my life. My children are my animals now.”

 WTF is going on this week, thats 4 celebrity deaths in one week. It has been confirmed that infomercial superstar Billy Mays has been taken away from us at the young age of 50. Billy was found by his wife at their home in Tampa, FL at around 7:45 this morning. No cause of death is known at this time, but an autopsy on Billy’s body is scheduled for tomorrow. Foul play is not suspected. Billy was supposed to have his third hip replacement surgery tomorrow. Billy’s wife issued this statement:

“Although Billy lived a public life, we don’t anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times.”

Billy had just returned to Tampa from Philadelphia where he was filming an infomercial for OxiClean. Billy’s plane had a little issues during landing. Billy Twittered yesterday: “Just had a close call landing in Tampa. The tires blew out upon landing. Stuck in the plane on the runway. You can always count on US Air.”

R.I.P, Man I’m already tired of saying this this week. People please start telling your loved ones how much they mean to you, life is really short.

The ladies are really in effect this weekend and looking very beautiful thus far.  The BET awards pre-show dinner held at the Jewel Box in Los Angeles, California  yesterday and here are a couple of pictures of the ladies arriving.

This is the first year Im actually excited about the BET Awards since the first one a couple of years back. One of the biggest reasons is Jamie Foxx and the fact that there has been so much in the media lately I cannot wait to see what kind of twist the show take and you already know when Jamie is involved, you never know what to expect.

Update 3:15: I have been on every reputable site looking for information on this story  and still nothing. Its 3pm EST and I’m sure someone would have broken this story by now. This is starting to look like a hoax, especially since I cannot find a valid source, Click Here To See This Post  from Another Blog post, confirming that this story is fake!!! No surprises there, We can expect to see more stories, (true or false) like this, within the next couple of months to come.

What in the hell ladies?, I just got home and saw this post on another word press blog  and  my mouth completely  dropped while reading the content. The first thing I asked myself was, why would this kid wait until now, this week at that to release a confession.  I don’t  have any additional information as to how valid this story  is but i will truly be keeping an eye on the story, stay tuned for any updates.
